Tracks can absolutely be installed on the roof of your A.R.E. Truck Cap to provide a mounting system for a roof rack. For this I recommend the Yakima Tracks, which come in 42 inch # Y01126, 54 inch # Y01127, and 60 inch # Y01135 lengths. These tracks are specifically designed for camper shells or truck caps like yours.

To complete the setup you will just need the Landing Pad 1 # Y00221 (for which you will need a quantity of 2), 4 of the Yakima Control Tower part # Y8890027, and a set of round crossbars like the the 66 inch # Y00410.

I have attached a customer image of this system installed on a similar cap to yours that you can take a look at as well.

For the track system on your A.R.E. cap I recommend the Yakima setup that consists of # Y00221 for the Landing Pad and # Y8890027 for the Mounting Feet, along with a set of appropriately sized round bars. You could go with the 78" # Y00411 and simply cut them down to size if needed. For the kayak carrier I really like the Yakima JayLow # Y04073, which can secure both kayaks. For a lock kit to secure everything into place the Same Key # Y07206 will work perfectly.

@ChrisR thanks so this a track system and feet ,bars,2 kayaks carries ,Work with a roof top tent together? The track system mounts to the fiberglass cap? Is this a low profile system? Please price and total purchase thank you

@GeoffreyT Assuming your kayaks aren't super wide, you'll still have enough room to attach a roof top tent at the other end of the crossbars. The bars will sit about 3-1/2 to 4" above your cap. All pricing is listed on the product pages.
